John Floyd has been a trial lawyer since 1990, trying 41 jury trials (business/professional negligence) to verdict. In addition, he has tried numerous cases before State regulatory boards and judges throughout Tennessee. He is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Tennessee Board of Specialization. He is also certified as a Specialist in Medical Malpractice by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and the Tennessee Board of Specialization.

His practice focuses on business and corporate litigation and the representation of professionals in negligence cases throughout Tennessee and northern Mississippi. Mr. Floyd has represented clients in various types of business and personal injury cases, including wrongful death claims and cases involving the Lanham Act, civil conspiracy, intellectual property, partnership dissolution, products liability and derivative shareholder actions. Furthermore, Mr. Floyd has represented clients in legal matters involving off-label use of drug devices and pharmaceuticals, and Medicare and Medicaid billing/reimbursement issues.
